1. It was one of the last film roles of legendary Greek actor Petros Fyssoun, who died in 2016. Son of a Russian émigré who had settled in Greece after the Russian Revolution, Petros went to be one of the top actors of his generation and had an extremely rich career in film, theater and television. As one of Greece’s foremost actors, On the course of his 60-year career, he garnered many awards and distinctions, including Leading Male Role in the 1963 Greek Film Festival as well as First Prize for Leading Male Role at the 1975 Ithaka Theater Festival. Fyssoun was married to Swedish actress Maud Hansson, known from her appearances in Bergman’s The Seventh Seal (1957) and Wild Strawberries (1957), and was survived by one daughter.
